I produce films. I have a particular interest in African films. In the hundred years humanity has practiced, motion picture production. African stories have generally been overlooked. Yet Africans tell great stories, and make great films. Like the late and legendary Ousmane Simbčne, I aim to bring African Cinema to the forefront in the film industry.
In Sesotho, the language of the Southern African country Lesotho, naledi means star. I was born in Lesotho where I lived for 17 years. I have chosen Naledi Media as a reminder of my birth place and that ultimately my greatest inspiration comes from my life experience. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I am in the masters program of motion picture and television at the Academy of Art University. Have a look at what I have done so far and I will post more as it becomes available.

My Sankofa
This montage describes one of my primary goals as I begin a career in film, which is to reach back into my past and into the realm of my ancestors to retrieve stories that will help me light the stars in the African sky. The music is sampled from Mos Def and Talib Kewly's Black Star album.
Under One Sky
Here is short introductory video I produced for a camp in western North Carolina, that serves youth in foster care.
Scene from Sex, Lies, and Videotape

Terminology Journal
This was an intersting project I did with the help of my friend Peter and my dog Poppy. It was for a general studies class at the Academy of Art University called Crossing Borders.Domino Remix
this is another fun project for a sound design class in whitch Kevin Chung, Jaqulyn Abergas and I striped all of the sound off of a clip from the film Domino and rebuilt it all from our oun recources. We recorded our voices in A.D.R., all of the foley and we gathered sound efects from the Academy's protools library and we brought in music from our personal collections includinga recoeding Bagatai, a song I performed several years ago when I was part of the "west african inspierd drum and dance enssamble 'Common Ground'," now performing as"Toubabkrewe."
